Today I received a kind donation from a junior doctor in Auckland who had got in touch with me through email and had some stationery that he no longer needed. I encourage you if you are reading this and have surplus stationery at home to contact me at [email protected], I am happy to pick up your stationery or for you to drop it off because every little bit makes a difference! Emily.
This afternoon, after visiting Panama Road School, I went to Hay Park School to donate pencils, A4 notebooks, highlighters and correction fluid. I met the Principal, Sheree Campbell, who was very grateful to receive the box of stationery for her students. Emily. This morning I visited Panama Road School where I met the lovely Principal, Jane Dold. I was overwhelmed by the warm welcome I received by both the teachers and students. I spent some time in the New Entrants class where I heard their beautiful singing and talked to the kids, hearing about how this extra stationery can make a difference in their learning. I also visited the other classes in the junior school where I saw how appreciative the students were of receiving some additional stationery. I donated 140 pencils and 60 erasers to the school which have 180 pupils plus 15 permanent markers for the teachers who sometimes have to provide resources for the students with their own money. Take a look at the photos below. Emily.
This morning I received a large box from ACCO Brands filled with pencils, A4 notebooks, highlighters, correction fluid and more. I was overwhelmed with the generosity this company has provided for the decile 1 schools in Auckland. Emily.
