For the last couple of weeks of term four, Lucy and I collected NCEA textbooks from St Cuthbert's College. A total of 155 NCEA textbooks were donated including 87 maths, 47 science and 25 humanities textbooks. These textbooks will be donated to low decile high schools next year. If you are a student or know of anyone who would have NCEA textbooks, AME workbooks, ESA study guides, learning workbooks, StudyPass revision guides and fold-out notes, please contact me ([email protected]) as I am always accepting donations. Thank you so much to Naman Limited who donated 180 DOMS Tri-Power Kits each containing a pencil, ruler, eraser and sharpener. Naman also donated packs of pencils, whiteboard markers and dusters, chalk, colouring pencils, paint pots and chalk holders. These stationery items will be greatly appreciated by schools as the stationery packs allow each child to have the necessary stationery items to learn. I was contacted by one of the employees at Hampton Jones who had some excess office supplies after moving locations. They kindly donated scissors, staplers, calculators, cello-tape, hole punches and rubbish bins. Emily.
Today I received a large box full of exercise books for a primary school with books they can use for writing, science, maths and art. It was donated by a primary school teacher and it is lovely to see primary schools helping other primary schools with their supplies that are no longer required at their school. I look forward to donating these books to a primary school soon. Emily.
