For many families it is hard to afford the required stationery needed at school so many teachers have to find ways to ensure that a child has a book and a pen or pencil so I hope this will help. Emily.Today I did a contactless drop off of stationery, particularly art supplies, to Glen Taylor School. These art supplies will be distributed to the students over the holidays as this school have had a big push on art and seen the benefits it has across the curriculum. I found out that this school asks the students buy the stationery but if they haven’t in two weeks then the school has to buy it for the students as the students need the stationery and exercise books to learn. I hope this stationery donation helps the students and takes the financial pressure off this school from purchasing stationery for the students. Emily. The third school I donated to today is Hay Park School. This is a decile two primary school located in Mount Roskill. The stationery donated included exercise books, binders, pencils, felt tip pens, glue sticks, printing paper, clear files, cellotape, colouring pencils, staplers and hole punches. Thank you to all those who have donated stationery to Paper Pens Pencils, it has been greatly appreciated by students and teachers. They really appreciate the support as they have to spend a lot of money on stationery, particularly on more expensive items such as NCEA textbooks and graphics calculators for senior classes. Emily. This afternoon I also visited Glenbrae school. I donated pens, paper, folders, hole punches and tape measure key rings. It was lovely to meet the Principal and students who were all very excited about receiving the stationery. Emily.Today I donated to Te Kura Kaupapa Maori O Puau Te Moananui A Kiwa. This decile two school in Glen Innes reached out to Paper Pens Pencils as they were wanting some stationery for their stationery packs in case they go into lockdown during the year.
